Israel

Israel
Jesus Christ was born in a country and belonged to a certain people. Many years before, God had chosen the people of Israel from all other nations to be a positive example for all other peoples. That is why he sent his son Jesus Christ to this people, because nowhere else would his death on the cross be understood. The Jews already had a certain preparatory education through their experiences with God. Unfortunately, most rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah (Hebrew: anointed one). Jesus announced the destruction of the temple and that the Jews would be scattered throughout the world. But nowhere is it said that God has rejected the Jews for good. Many prophecies announce the return of the Jews to their land in the end times. Therefore, the founding of the State of Israel is no coincidence. Many of them still have not accepted Jesus. But the prophet Zechariah announces the conversion of the Jews as follows: "They will look on him whom they have pierced, and all the families of the earth will mourn him."

On May 14, 1948, David Ben Gurion proclaimed the State of Israel.
On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, I wish Israel peace and happiness!

United for Israel
(In memory of the victims of October 7)
In your pain Israel, you are not alone.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is with you.
He will save you with a strong arm.
As Christians, we stand unwaveringly by your side.
It's unimaginable what happened to you.
Terrorists who want to destroy you,
attacked you
and killed over 1000 Jews in a bestial manner.
They murdered children, women and men,
Old and young, without mercy.
They are carrying out Satan's plan to wipe out Israel.
But they will fail:
God promised Israel the land
and it will never be torn out of the land again.
In your darkest hour since the Holocaust,
where your existence is at stake like never before,
you, Israel, are not alone.
The Lion of Judah is on your side and rules the world.
He will give you victory over your enemies.
Call to him in times of need, turn to the Messiah:
He will hear you.
As a Christian, I am united with you in your pain.
I mourn for your sons and daughters.
I pray for your peace, I pray for victory over your enemies.
I pray that they repent of their evil deeds
and stop touching the apple of God's eye.
God, comfort Israel, Lord protect Israel,
watch over your people.
Guide the hearts of governments,
that they will stand by Israel in its hour of trial.
Let them repent for supporting Israel's enemies.
Let love prevail, not hate.
We are confident that God will give Israel victory,
for God, the King of the world, stands by his word.
The Guardian of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers.
He has sent his angels to protect you.
Lord, free the hostages, protect the civilians and soldiers.
Adonai, you fight for Israel with a strong arm.
Israel, know the Lord.
Your Messiah is not far away.

Comfort Israel
Little Israel, much loved and most hated.
So often fought over and yet a light for the world.
The people rage and snort.
The people are rebelling.
They fight against you with war, terror,
Propaganda and diplomatic feints.
But the God of Israel is with you.
Never again will anyone tear you away from your country.
Yes, I believe in God's promises to Israel.
He will fulfill everything he has promised.
For he brought them back to their land
and planted them there
Even if you are in trouble now,
God will give you victory.
Whoever fights against you is fighting against God.
He will intervene for you in his time,
all enemies must disperse.
Terrorism has hit Israel hard.
Comfort the people of Israel and bind up their wounds.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem,
may all who seek him be well.
Stand up for Israel, stand by its side.
Stand up against hatred of Jews,
which again shows its ugly face.
Love your Jewish brothers and sisters.
May the Lord bless Israel forever.

See the miracle – 70 years
If we believe that miracles still happen today,
then we cannot avoid looking at the land of Israel.
Painstakingly wrested from rock, sand and swamps,
the transformation to fertile farmland has been successful.
Despite enemy superiority, Israel flourishes and prospers,
while all around people scream for blood and vengeance.
It is hard to believe what is happening in this small country,
everything was invented with heart, head and hand.
After surviving the Holocaust while wounded,
and as uprooted people aspired to the way home,
They overcame the British blockade on the coasts,
in the footsteps of their ancestors, the Israelites.
On May 14, David Ben Gurion proclaimed the State of Israel,
Tens of thousands returned home on rusty ships.
They kissed the ground at their feet,
In the port they were able to greet some relatives.
Barely founded and already under fire,
the enemies stormed and yet failed in the end.
That this miracle happened to this small state,
There are many signs along his path that testify to this.
To explain this with God’s election and love,
can give us a glimpse of the truth.
Even today miracles happen like in the Old Testament,
Blessed is he who recognizes them in current events.
God’s faithfulness to his people never ends,
He ultimately completes the course of the world.
Open your eyes to the miracle and see
With your eyes closed you'll never notice.
After 70 years I wish you peace and blessings,
God's protection and care are important to your well-being.
May God give you shalom in days to come.
He will one day carry you into the arms of the Messiah.

Jerusalem's Unity
50 years ago Jerusalem was still divided,
into an eastern and a western part.
The crack ran right through the city.
The Jordanians were in the War of Independence
illegally invaded
and occupied parts of Jerusalem.
All Jews were expelled from the Old City,
the synagogues and the Jewish quarter were destroyed.
For years, Jews were not allowed to enter the Wailing Wall,
the holiest place of their faith,
no longer enter.
The miracle happened 50 years ago
the reunification of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War.
Israel won sensationally against five Arab nations
and reconquered the old town and the other parts of the city.
When soldiers prayed at the Western Wall on June 7
and the Star of David waved over the walls,
the rule of nations came to an end
and after almost 2000 years the place came back into Jewish hands.
Today, people can
of all religions freely visit their holy sites,
which was not possible before.
Jerusalem is reunited
in the sovereign State of Israel
and the signs of the times indicate
that the Messiah will return in power and dignity.
What he started there, he will certainly finish,
that from Jerusalem all nations will worship Yahweh.
Come to Jerusalem, you peoples
and worship the one true God!
Jews and Gentiles become Jesus
praise the Prince of Peace there together.

Return to Zion
The people of Israel living in the dispersion
found new hope,
when the first Zionist Congress met in Basel.
European anti-Semitism and the exclusion of Jews made a reaction necessary.
The movement to return to Zion, to the land of the Bible and the fathers, gained momentum.
After 2000 years of abstinence
a Jewish state should be founded,
at a historic site in the Holy Land,
even if it,
due to the power politics games
of the European rulers,
seemed hopeless.
Many efforts came to nothing,
and Theodor Herzl died too early,
to see the miracle for yourself.
The Balfour Declaration gave the Jews the right
towards its own national home,
but first came the terrible Holocaust.
51 years after the Congress
the Jewish state became a reality.
It is no longer a fairy tale,
as he himself said.
God's faithfulness to his people is limitless.
He brought it into the country
and made the impossible possible.
Praise the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
who led his people home to Zion.

Flourishing country
(75 years of Israel)
Israel has risen from the ashes of the Holocaust,
dry bones filled with flesh to life again,
It is flourishing again in the land that God gave it
and promised his forefather Abraham.
The State of Israel has existed for 75 years
and is a powerful sign of God’s faithfulness,
who never leaves his people alone.
Jews from all over the world were allowed to return to their country
and make the desert bloom.
We are grateful and happy for them.
We bless and support them.
For the blessing of Abraham is through the
Jewish Messiah Jesus also came to us.
Peace be with you; war be banished forever.
May you find the Messiah soon.
We can already see
how God's promises come true.
May God grant you prosperity and unity.
Never again will Israel be torn from the land.
Shalom.

Peace for Israel
Connected through the Jew Jesus
we are still with his people,
the older brother.
But Israel and the Jews
are met with hostility in our times.
They are denied the right to their land
and on self-defense.
People are terrorized with stone throwing, rocket attacks,
Attacks on synagogues and hate slogans.
But God is faithful to his people,
which he himself has chosen.
The enemies will cut themselves in their own flesh.
We stand firmly by our older brother.
We ask for protection and blessing
for the Jews before the attacks.
We hope and pray that their enemies,
as far as possible,
suffer no damage
and come to your senses.
We pray for peace for Israel,
the Jews and their neighbors.

Prayer for Israel
Lord, we ask you for unity for your beloved people Israel.
Let the argument end
and the parties to the dispute find constructive solutions.
Protect it also from internal and external enemies,
who want to attack and destroy it.
But you watch over your country and its people with a strong arm.
You will not leave the Jews alone.
Grant peace and reconciliation
among Abraham's children and a new beginning.
Keep rockets and attacks away from Israel.
Let them find their way back to their God,
who freed them from Egypt
and from the first and second exile,
and who sent them the Messiah.
Adonai, watch over Israel!

Memory
7o years have passed since Auschwitz,
when an entire people was to be destroyed in the Holocaust.
70 years ago the concentration camp was liberated,
The horror came to an end, but many questions remained.
Only slowly did the world open up to the truth
about what had happened there;
It remains an eternal memorial.
We must keep the memory alive,
We owe this to the many innocent victims,
so that this madness never happens again.
My God, have mercy! My God, have mercy,
that such a crime never happens again in the world.
Many ask themselves, God, where you were in Auschwitz,
whether you even wanted to have anything to do with it
and whether you can even exist.
But I know that you were there, among the victims.
What the evil ones do to children, women, men, old people
and sick, they have done that to you.
The tears of the victims are your tears,
which you shed on the suffering of your chosen people.
You know every single one of the six million names,
that we cannot all know,
and no one is ever forgotten by you.
But how can people be so merciless,
because they are the ones responsible for Auschwitz
How can you dehumanize yourself so much,
that people are no longer treated as human beings?
How can one be more angry than animals,
more barbaric than barbarians?
What demonic spirit can only imagine concentration camps,
Invent forced labor, extermination and gas chambers?
Evil is real and it fights for this world,
but his power will only last for a short time.
Even the worst madness will come to an end,
even though we wonder why it had to take so long.
It is comforting to know that nothing escapes God.
We don’t know why he allowed all this to happen,
but we know that God can do great things.
He lets flowers grow from the ashes
and he brings dead bones back to life.
70 years after Auschwitz, the Jews
long since returned home to their country
and have risen from the ashes as a people.
My God, never let this happen to the Jews again!
Never again allow a person, whether Jew, Armenian,
Sinti and Roma, Tutsi from Rwanda, Bosnians or Christians
something like this is done to you!
We want to remember and not remain silent,
so that the world never forgets Auschwitz!

January 27, 2015, Holocaust Remembrance Day.
70 years after the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp

Abraham's children
They are both Abraham's children, Isaac and Ishmael.
They are brothers and yet separated by conflict.
How much blood of their sons and daughters has already been shed?
How much hatred, suffering and violence has come upon them?
The situation is hopelessly confused,
seemingly inextricably entangled
It began with God choosing one of them as the line of blessing.
The promises were made to him,
that from him would come a people,
in which the Savior of the world was to be born.
God chose the son of the free woman, and not of the slave,
to Abraham's successor.
Ishmael was not a bearer of the promise,
But God also had good intentions for his descendants.
For 4000 years there has been this dispute between Jews and Arabs,
for God's blessing, for the land and for the promise.
God decreed that salvation should come from the Jews
and from them it should flow to all peoples.
The Arabs were also included in this blessing along with the other nations.
Certain promises of God were made to them,
just not the same ones he had given to Israel.
If these brothers reconcile,
then the whole world will benefit.
Until then, let us pray for peace between the two brother nations,
that love conquers hate,
and Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world,
connects their hearts together.

Shalom
Surrounded by enemies,
preserved by God himself,
repeatedly attacked,
but amazingly steadfast
is little Israel.
The mullahs in Iran are threatening your annihilation,
your enemies are fighting for peace.
If God’s wings did not watch over you,
we would soon no longer find you on the map.
But the God of Israel stands by his promises.
He has taken you by his hand
and led you through raging streams.
The walls of Jerusalem are drawn in the lines of his palm.
I wish you peace,
I wish you reconciliation,
I wish you the blessing of the Messiah.
Shalom!

Peace and quiet
Father in heaven,
grant peace and rest to your people Israel,
in the land that you gave them.
You know,
how many rockets are fired at their country,
how much suffering they have already experienced.
My God, please bring the enemies to their senses so that they may repent of their evil deeds and turn back.
Show them who you are
and let them be ready for peace.
Don’t forget the children,
who suffer most from the attacks.
Heal their wounds and trauma
and let them experience the benefit of peace for the first time.
You will never forget your people.
You are by her side and will
defend against all hostility.

Turn of fate
Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the nations,
until the time of the nations comes to an end.
Then God will bring his people back to their homeland from all the countries of the earth where he has scattered them. Then their land will bloom again, desert and bare earth will be transformed into blooming gardens.
For the Lord God cannot break his promises. He will surely fulfill them.
And he will give them new hearts,
They should have the words of God implanted in them and live accordingly.
God will punish all their persecutors for their presumptuousness and hatred of the covenant people. But everyone can repent and hatred will be transformed into love.
So the nations will come up to Jerusalem and praise the Almighty with his people, and he will restore their fortunes.

© by Stefan Fröhlich 05. November 2012

Peace for Israel
I ask you one more thing, God.
Protect your people Israel from their enemies.
Give him rest in his land,
which it longs for with all its heart.
That love and peace
triumph over hatred and war.
Lead them to rest,
in the country
that you promised Abraham.
They have returned after 2000 years;
a great miracle has happened.
But they are still surrounded,
by an army of enemies,
that wants to drive them into the sea
and from the land which thou gavest them.
But you will defend them
and never run away again!
And you can spread love
and turn hatred into reconciliation.
Into your hands I place the fate of the State of Israel and its neighbors.
© by Stefan Fröhlich 20 March 2013

Don't get confused!
Hear, O Israel.
Your God is the One.
He tolerates no other gods besides himself.
But the Lord is also your protection and your comfort,
even if the sea of nations roars once again.

And God says to Israel’s enemies:
Do not harm my people!
Do not harm Israel, my son!
Otherwise I will take your son,
as I did with the Egyptians.
Your land shall become desolate,
because you also want to destroy my land.
But the war you bring into my country:
He should not let you go
and destroy your country.
But I speak kindly to you,
if you turn back and stop fighting me.
For whoever fights against Israel,
he is fighting against me.
he is my son
and I will not let him down!
I will keep all promises,
that I gave him.

© by Stefan Fröhlich 29 February 2012

bone of contention
O Lord,
the enemies of your people are plotting against them.
They want to destroy Israel
and wipe it off the map.
They will use any means necessary,
be it terror, be it diplomacy,
to bring your people to their knees.
O Lord,
Stand up and speak for your people!
Show the world,
that she is about to touch your eyeball again.
Give them insight into their deluded actions
and let enemies become friends!
Let the guns fall silent
and the shofar horn proclaims peace.
But many will reject this peace
and run to their own destruction.
You will be overwhelmed by this burden.
O my God,
grant justice to your people!

© by Stefan Fröhlich 25.05.2011

Your peace will come
You have inscribed the walls of Jerusalem in your hands
and his gates are ever before your eyes.
O Lord, watch over the fate of your city,
where you showed,
that forgiveness is possible even after the greatest transgression.
Plant seeds of peace in the hearts of people.
who don't know him yet.
Israel’s fate is the fate of all humanity
and our own.
Even if we were unfaithful to you
and spat in your face,
you paid for us with the blood of atonement.
Therefore, Jerusalem has become a symbol
the hope for peace.
And even if it is due to human error
there has never been peace there,
the promise will still come true.
Blow the shofar,
for your peace, O Jerusalem, will come,
when your king appears again in you.

60 years of Israel
60 years of Israel - God is faithful. The desert is blooming, the land is coming to life. For the people whom God chose as his own have returned. Escaping the gas chambers, escaping the terror of the Nazis, taken away from an iron curtain, they made cities and lands flourish. Built with their own hands, paid for with the blood of the fallen. Israel, God is with you, no matter how numerous your enemies are around you. Five armies attacked without success, for the Lord performed miracles. Israel withstood the superior force of its enemies, the Lord of hosts sent invisible armies. All of this was El-Shaddai's goodness, he brought his people home after 2000 years. Jerusalem, first divided, then united, I pray for your peace and security. The eternal capital of Israel is the city of the greatest king. Today this country is a leader in agriculture and science, and has produced important personalities. But its only protection is its eternal ruler, who gave us the Book of the Covenant. Am yisrael chai – Israel lives and will live until the Messiah comes. 60 years of Israel – God stands by his promises – and I wish you shalom for the future.

eyeball
They said they wanted to wipe out Israel. They planned to destroy it and wipe out every memory of it. They were touching a hornet's nest: powerful people, politicians and peoples. For they did not know that they were touching the apple of God's eye. They took part in the battle between good and evil, but on the wrong side, led by the forces of darkness. No matter how strong they were, what influence, what army, what weapons they had, they fell into the snare, they fell and no one could stop their fall. God, you chose Israel as your son. You wanted to create a people who would live in your favor and through whom peoples would find the true God. Although they stumbled and fell, you did not leave them in the dust. They had to suffer much, but in the end their persecutors will fare terribly. No one can diminish God's love for his people. No one can destroy them. In the end, God will achieve his goal with Israel, for it is the apple of his eye.

On the wings of the eagle
His people are returning home on the wings of the eagle. They are sailing across the ocean to their land. Vehicles are taking them to the land of their fathers that God gave them. They are returning from all nations of the earth, for the Lord is gathering them again. Yes, they were severely punished. For a long time they were homeless, pushed around, slaughtered and made scapegoats. But Yahweh has not forgotten his people. He is bringing them home again, despite all opposition. Now he is gathering them for the day of judgment that is coming upon the earth, when he will punish his enemies once and for all. Yes, he is showing mercy to his people again. Not everyone knows him yet. Many have not yet recognized Yeshua as the Messiah. But something will happen that no one would have thought possible. They will recognize who was pierced for their sins and brought them home again. All nations will come and worship the Lord. His people are coming again. Yes, they are coming on the wings of the eagle.

Israel - God's people
Lord, protect your people. Protect Israel from its enemies. Please give lasting peace in the land. Comfort your people! Please be with them, for you are their holy God. You, holy God, help the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Keep your protective hand over Israel and its capital Jerusalem. Stand by them, God. I know: You will do it.

City of Peace
Jerusalem - the city into which the king entered on a donkey. Which city is similar to it, in its past, present and future? Where is there a place where God's work has been more evident than in the Holy City? Silent witnesses from all times still speak into our time. This city, from which the gospel was carried to all the world and which itself did not recognize what leads to peace, whose earth is filled with the blood of thousands of people who died violently here. It is the city of the great King of Peace, Jesus. When people recognize him, there will be peace within its walls. The city is still divided, split and torn. But when the Messiah returns, he will unite it. Then Jerusalem will rejoice and leap like a grasshopper, for the time of mourning will then be finally over. All peoples will come to the temple and worship the one true God. Terror and hatred will then come to an end and Jesus himself will rule the earth. Nature will also find peace and return to its original state. Jerusalem will be what it was always meant to be: the city of peace where people come together to worship the Lord our God and King.

In his country
I want to go where he went.
I want to stand where he stood.
Where he spoke, I will listen
And wherever he gave, I will take from him.
It is his country that he wandered through,
in which kings, priests and prophets received instructions from God.
This country that was eagerly waiting for the Messiah,
and that in which he was crucified.
But it was God's plan to save people.
Yes, he forgave those
which caused his death.
He loved this people and his country,
and it pained him greatly to see
how they ran into their misfortune,
because many did not want to recognize him.
But the times of misfortune will soon be over.
His people have returned to Israel,
into the country,
where I want to follow his footsteps.

His disciples
He came to the lake
and chose his disciples.
You should accompany him, learn from him
and always be around him.
The rabbi left them in no doubt as to who he was.
He calmed a storm, multiplied loaves and fish, turned water into wine, healed the sick and raised the dead.
They wandered with him through green Galilee.
The disciples learned more about the mission of the messenger who taught them,
how to win people for the kingdom of God.
His message set people free,
Sinners were forgiven their sins
and they were now able to return to fellowship with God.
First of all, Jesus invested in his disciples,
so that they could spread his message.
After his death and resurrection, they continued the mission and won many people.
But this mission is far from over.
Jesus is still calling disciples today.
Who wants to follow him and spread his message?

14 May 1948 - 14 May 2008 = 60 years

Happy birthday Israel
On May 14, David Ben Gurion, who would later become the first Israeli Prime Minister, proclaimed the modern State of Israel. Something very unusual had happened, because for almost 2000 years there had been no Jewish state in the area known to the Romans as "Palestine". This was due to the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD. Although Jews had always lived in the country, most of them were scattered all over the world and were repeatedly persecuted out of envy and resentment. After the greatest mass murder of all time, the murder of almost 6 million Jews, the miracle happened. History tells us that states that disappear from the map do not rise again, but 1948 was an exception. A number of new farmers, refugee scientists and musicians with no battle experience re-founded an ancient state. The most interesting thing is that this state survived, although 5 Arab armies, well-equipped and numerous, were ready to invade immediately after the declaration of independence. Their goal: to wipe Israel off the map again. Their superiority is expressed in numbers: 200 against one. 60 years later, there is great amazement, because Israel is still here, has survived six wars of survival and even more terrorist attacks, and is still very much alive. Shouldn't there be a living God behind it, gathering his people, as he promised in prophecies?
In the Bible, Amos says: "Then I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel; and they will rebuild the desolate cities and live in them; they will plant vineyards and drink the wine; they will make gardens and eat the fruit. And I will plant them in their own land, and they will never again be uprooted from their land that I have given them, declares the Lord your God."
I wish Israel peace, peace with its neighbors and the Palestinians, but I know that for that to happen, Jesus the Messiah must come again (a second time). But there are already hopeful signs when hearts that were full of hatred for one another are changing.
There is still hope.

Shalom Israel!

No thanks!
